Mint-On-Card Fashions - Moth Lady

Moth Lady's Fashions Mint-On-Card

It's important to check the number of pieces in your fashions, as they are easily lost when loose, and occasionally, the factory packaged fashions with a piece missing!

Moth Lady's Forest Fantasy consists of 5 pieces (tunic, two leggings, headband, travel pack). It may sound harsh, but when I first encountered her Forest Fantasy mint-on-card, it reminded me of something from the Flintstones. (Perhaps due to the angular accents--a menacing pattern common to the villains' Forest Fantasy themes.) Thankfully, in person, this fashion looks many times better. The head band is a very cool accent, shared only by Onyx's Forest Fantasy outfit.

Moth Lady's Festival Spirit consists of 5 pieces (black vest, coulottes, belt, overjacket, weapon sheath). In a word, her Festival Spirit has "80's" written all over it. Loud, haphazard, eclectic, and eccentric. Gold and silver chains, two-toned coulottes, a "snake-skin" vest, and a three-petal overvest! In real life, an outfit like this would have made David Lee Roth proud. The coulottes seem like a transition from Golden Girl's separate pants to Vultura's skirt overlay. The sheath for her weapon will be a tight fit, and there could be some trouble with flaking lamé.

The Evening Enchantment series featured 4-piece outfits (dress, belt, shawl, purse). Moth Lady's gown is the hardest of the villains' fashions to find. It is my personal favorite. The lamé may cause some problems loose, but it looks exceptional on display. The gown shares the "Tudor" style, as I call it, of Golden Girl and Wild One's outfits. The only drawback is that the sheer shawl lacks a trim, however, the unique three-petal overskirt (much like her three-petal cape) is a stylish use of the fabric.
