The Lair on Storm Isle

Figure Identification - The Guardians (First Half)

If you can't find your figure among this set, make sure it hasn't had its head or legs swapped with another figure (or wasn't customized some other way), or it isn't from a knock-off toyline like Galaxie Girl or Goddess of the Ultra Cosmos.

Golden Girl: Princess of the Gemstone Guardians
Golden Girl's helmet evokes an ancient Greek image (as does the name of her faithful unicorn steed, Olympia). Vultura borrows the mold for her belt. Golden Girl's sword is the hardest of her accessory pieces to find loose. Depending upon the quality of the gold metallics used in the headdress and belt, they may have turned dark brown or green with age.

Jade: Mystic of the Secret Jewels
Like all the sword-wielding figures (Golden Girl, Onyx, Prince Kroma, and Dragon Queen), Jade's belt is especially molded to holster her sword at the hilt. Her right hand is molded to hold the sword, but in my experience, her left hand holds it more naturally. I've found her belt and sword to be the hardest of her accessory pieces to find loose.

Rubee: Firey Champion of the Lightning Bow
Rubee borrows Jade's mold for her gold belt. Her ornate headdress and crossbow are among the hardest of the Guardians' accessory pieces to find loose. When they survive at all, they are usually sold in large She-Ra lots, and it's driving me nuts. As the headdress is so easily damaged, few loose ones survive. Her belt tends to turn green with age.
