My Want List (as of April 2006)

Okay, what Golden Girl™ collector site would be complete without a want list? I've learned a great deal from the time and obsessive energy I've put into collecting this toyline, but even so, I have yet to achieve collector utopia according to my own standards. My wants will change as I acquire more items loose and mint-in-package.

10. Ogra: spear, cape (NOT FLAKING!!)
11. Wild One: headdress, hatchet
12. Palace of Gems: spear weapon, door wreath, table, doormat, flag bridge, interior stickers, Saphire's & Rubee's flags

My Other Vintage Toy Collections (A Crossover Party!)

Who in the world are these warrior women, making off with Golden Girl's unicorn Olympia?! Looks like a Galaxie Girl and her Goddess of the Ultra Cosmos cohorts are trying to rain on our parade!

Hey, if you're going to crash a party, you might as well do it in style! Here's a rare mint-on-card knock-off fashion from the Power Fashions series (Shillman, © 1985). It claims to fit She-Ra™, Golden Girl™, or other 5½-inch figures, but as my Glimmer shows, it's a tight fit even on Princess of Power™ figures. Better to keep it mint-on-card for display!

The Pirates of Dark Water (by Hasbro)

I decided that if I were going to take the time to show off my Golden Girl collection, I may as well showcase all the hard work I've put into collecting other toylines that I admire. In addition to my fascination with Golden Girl, I also hold Pirates of Dark Water in the utmost esteem, as a fantasy cartoon and toyline. Why not celebrate with a crossover party?

The After-Hours Party
with Sectaurs (by Coleco), Gargoyles (by Kenner), and Tenko (by Mattel)

And two figures from Tenko and the Guardians of the Magic (is this toyline like an ultra-femme rip-off of Golden Girl and the Guardians of the Gemstones, or what? Well what do you know--Mattel made it!)--I swapped their outfits and added some accessories to Shonti, choosing the Lion/Griffon armor from Bronx II (Gargoyles) as her steed. Tenko is riding the Ty beanie Zodiac Dragon.
